Families, Friends, Employees, Colleagues,

Within the last two weeks, we have witnessed some horrific acts such as the murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd; the culmination of these events leading to the protests we are seeing today for justice for all.  The time for change has come and the issues deeply rooted within the systems of our communities and country no longer serve in this society.

As a multi-cultural organization, A-1 Universal Care has from its inception, strived to support the families and employees most impacted by these systems.  Our families and workforce consists of people from many cultures and backgrounds lending their talents and values to further the growth of the people we serve and the organization as a whole. We will continue to do so as we stand with our Black Families, Employees, Colleagues, and all who push for real, substantial change to the injustice inflicted on those who have historically been marginalized in our society. 

Now is the time to listen. Listen to your neighbors, co-workers, employees as they express their grief and anger to these events and those going back over 400 years.  In the words of Martin Luther King Jr., “The time is always right to do what is right.”
